Plastering

(Waterproof & Skimming)

Wall plastering is a process used in the construction and finishing of buildings. It involves applying a layer of plaster to the interior and sometimes exterior walls of a building to achieve a smooth or textured surface.

The primary purposes of plastering are to protect the building materials underneath, provide a level surface for painting or decorating, and improve the aesthetic appearance of the walls. Plastering can also help with insulation and soundproofing.

Waterproof Rendering

Waterproof rendering is a construction technique used to apply a waterproof layer to the exterior walls of a building, enhancing its resistance to moisture and water ingress. This process involves the application of a water-resistant render mixture, which can include materials such as cement, lime, and specialized waterproofing additives or agents, to create a barrier that prevents water from penetrating through the walls.

Skimming Plastering

Skimming plastering is a finishing technique used in the construction and renovation of interior walls and ceilings, aimed at achieving a smooth, high-quality surface. This process involves the application of a thin layer of plaster, typically consisting of a finishing plaster compound, over the top of a base coat or directly onto existing plaster, drywall, or other surfaces.
